15,000 panels will produce approximately 7,000 megawatt hours per year. That translates to enough electricity for about 700 averaged sized homes in Upstate New York.
This project will also benefit the community. According to Big Flats Town Supervisor Ed Fairbrother, for each customer that enrolls $100 will go to one of three different community groups that are designated by the town: The Community Center, Youth Program or parks within Big Flats.
